A baby carrier is one of the most convenient products for you and your baby, you may go out on long walks on a weekend. Or may even have a clingy baby that needs to be close to you.

How long do I use a carrier for?

Depending on which carrier you choose, does depend on how long it lasts. The Ergobaby Omni 360 Cool Air Mesh is suitable from birth – 20kg (4 years old). It does have crossable shoulder straps which gives you a personalised fit, which in turn does make it one of the best carriers on the market currently.
If you have a premature baby, or a smaller newborn, you can also add an infant wedge so you can still use the carrier.

As well as Ergobaby, the pram and car seat manufacturer Cybex also sell baby carriers. They have a few different ones to choose from, and they do also sell the special edition colours too!

As well as the structured baby carriers, there are also baby wraps which are perfect for newborn baby size! They do require more work putting your baby in, as most of them are used with ties to secure your baby in.
However, these are perfect for newborn babies, they are soft to the touch so will be nice on your babies skin. They will also feel a lot closer to you, and will feel cocooned into you. So for premature babies it’s perfect!
