Mama Designs Reusable Breast Pads
Our bamboo reusable breast pads are made from super soft bamboo. They are ultra absorbent, yet slim and discreet. A double layer of bamboo fleece and an invisible waterproof coating prevent leaks.
Each pack contains 8 reusable bamboo breast pads 4 x large (13cm) pads and 4 x regular (11cm) pads.
These bamboo washable breast pads are super soft and gentle on your skin. They stay at body temperature when wet unlike disposables that get cold and can cause discomfort.

These Bamboo reusable breast pads are one of our best selling products. Washable breast pads not only save you money versus disposable breast pads but you will also be doing your bit for the environment.
Each pack contains 8 pads, 4 larger for overnight or heavier flow and 4 smaller for regular flow.
We use super soft bamboo for maximum comfort (made with viscose derived from bamboo). This ensures the pads are soft and gentle against your skin. Mama Designs washable breast pads have a double layer of bamboo fleece, with an invisible PU coating that prevents any leaks. These bamboo reusable breast pads will increase absorbency with every wash up to 12 washes (and then stay at this level of absorbency). We recommend washing before use (please do not use fabric conditioner), this will remove the layer of fluff and increase the absorbency of your bamboo breast pads. These pads are super slim which means they are discreet and won’t show through your bra. You may experience a little shrinkage on the first wash. Do not worry! This actually creates an even tighter knit and makes them even more absorbent.
How to use your pads
We can’t say how long before you need to change your pad as everyone is different. We recommend you check your pad at every feed or after a few hours and see how they feel.
Ensure that you wear your pad with the label facing outwards (away from the skin). This means that the waterproofing is away from your breast. This will allow maximum absorbency from the pad.
After you finish feeding
After breastfeeding, you will be pleased to hear that these pads make great makeup removal or cleansing pads! Although customers tell us that their pads have been used on up to three breastfed babies, so you may want to keep them!
